  • Strengthen your core using a 5kg medicine to perform side to side twists. This will hit your intercostals and core.

  • Use a Swiss Ball when working on your Abs whilst doing crunches etc.
  • To reduce water retention drink between 4-6 litres of water EVERY day.
  • This time of year get a tan!  Your AB's will look 10% sharper.
  • For a quick result – reduce your complex carbs and increase your water intake.

 Suggested ABS/Core Circuit – Paired Workout

  • Warm up – 1 crunch, 1 sit-up, 1 twist left then right, then increase to 2 of each, then increase to 3 of each.
  • 3 sets of 10 of Russian medicine ball twists
  • 3 sets of pressured leg raises
  • 3 sets of sit-ups on the decline bench (full range of motion to get maximum benefit)
  • Plank for 1 minute
  • Side plank on both sides for 20 seconds each side (raising non supporting arm in the air)
